Comfort mirror folding for RHD cars with Gen4 door controllers
Hi All,
If your PQ platform (Golf 5/6, Passat B6/B7, Tiguan etc) car has folding mirrors that you normally control from the mirror controls, AND you have Gen4 door controllers, read on...the adaptation channel changes that work with LHD cars as most know do not work for those of us driving on the correct side of the road.
If your driver's door (address 42) shows up in a VCDS scan with a xxxxx-Gen4.clb there is now a method for enabling folding of the mirrors from the keyfob, just like comfort window closing.
The mirrors will then auto unfold when you start the car.
