bought a nice red 2008 mk5 golf gti as my first car because i love making poor choices!

been lurking these forums for guidance on fixing issues (particularly relating to discover media retrofit and reverse cameras)

i bought my golf gti 2 years ago and iv been a VW fan ever since! However the problems in the cars never stop but i keep fixing them by hand because my car is old and dying hahah

I've just purchased a Jetta 2008 Diesel. I've had Golf's since the late 1990s. They are great cars and I love the TDI engine as well as the DSG gearbox.
I'm interested in fixing a few problems with the Jetta and thought this was a likely place to start.

I picked up a 04 Polo Match for next to nothing and whenever I get a car, I dive right into learning everything I can about it.

Its tedious but rewarding when it comes to fixing those annoying little problems that pop up.

Hi folks, In December 2007 I bought a new 08 model comfortline multivan T5. Anyway the gear box has gone on it and it has done 245000 ks so I am not going to spend the money fixing it. What is the best way to maximise the money I can get for van/parts.
