Scratching my head as to where to go next . Will shorten the story . Installed a replacement engine and while doing so replaced injector , glow plug looms with new ones . New cam installed also . New turbo, N75 valve , EGR delete done . Pre DPF so no issue...

Brake pedal hard first thing in the morning

Testing Wiring and Earths for EGR fault T5 2010 Feb 2.0 CAAC 103kw 6spd man
Making a separate post just for this, hoping someone can help me with some shortcuts.
Before removing the EGR valve to clean or replace, seems like a good idea to first check for wiring or earth faults?

My 2010 GTI has had a timing belt failure and damaged the cams. Spent $2K so far on diagnosis (taking engine apart) and they have said:
- Top cover if repairable (another $300 to assess) will cost $9K to fix
- But engine has corrosion from coolant spilling,... -

Yesterday I took my yellow '08 Kombi Beach 2.5TDI (auto), to get a new exhaust manifold etc fitted. After 293k it had warped and done the broken stud "thing" so all studs get replaced ($4,700 + for any studs that need the 'easy-out').
