Peculiar rear view camera problem 2012 Passat - only works with engine off
I have a peculiar problem with an aftermarket wireless reversing camera setup on my 2012 TD Passat. The camera works and gives a clear view when the engine is off. As soon as I start the engine, the rear view monitor picture shuts down.

Everything seems to work ok but anytime I touch any switch below the head unit like aircon or seat heaters the revers camera appears on the screen. Rear Badge Doesn't Flip Up
So my rear camera has been intermittently not working for a while.
I've noticed it's when the weather is cold. The camera itself seems fine but the badge doesn't flip up and when I go check the badge is also locked. After driving it or after putting it in and out of reverse a few times it'll fix.... -
