From Police...
A p-plater and his female passenger have been injured in a crash on the M5 at Kingsgrove last night.

About 8.30pm, the 20-year-old man was driving his late model black Honda sports car...



... west along the M5 in the break down lane, when he lost control between the Kingsgrove Road and King Georges Road.

The car veered across two lanes of traffic and crashed into a concrete barrier and into the rear of parked truck trailer.



The driver received a minor laceration to the rear of his head and was taken to St George Hospital for observation.

His passenger, a 20-year-old woman, suffered a fractured left arm and concussion.

Investigators examined the scene until the early hours of this morning and are appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
