Perhaps this is closer to the truth Australia isnt mentioned and neither is my model wagon which the check your VIN page says is affected

Have just got my mail and NO CHEQUE Just a letter covered in teardrops saying how sorry VW are and that eventually they will contact me when and presumably IF they have a fix.

Got the same letter and via email.
Car dealers aren't wanting to do trades either.
2 car dealers politely declined trading my Passat.
VW is happy to trade albeit if I buy a new Passat...
