ahahh there are some hilarious posts here !

I've seen one whilst driving .. it was on the windscreen OUTSIDE and then I stopped to flick it off .. bugger got through the open door and came inside the car !! Can't really remember what I did after that. I think I fainted and woke up in hospital

Seriously though, I had to give mine a good flick with the uni note pad and once it was outside the car, I was out of there ! I think it made me 15 minutes late to class.

Sports racer ... just spray the car with RAID and hopefully you find the body of the huntsman curled up somewhere. Once that's done, I'd spray the car with Glen 20 (into the vents that suck air to get rid of the fumes).

      Good luck !

If its a big one, just offer up your hand and let it crawl on, then take it outside and put him/her on a tree trunk or some such.. The little ones seem to be a lot more skittish and will run away, so those are better got with a broom.

Nobody ever died from a huntsman bite.

          It's out!

The kids spotted it crawling across the rear window so a well placed flick and it went merrily on it's way.

It's funny how I'm not scared of spiders but every time there was a movement at the edge of my vision, no matter what it was, I'd be a bit skittish. Now I can drive without imagining it crawling across the back of my neck.

          Cheers

Driving back from Bairnsdale once as a passenger and notice huntsman on inside drivers door window. Doing 110 down the freeway the driver calmly lowers the window to let her out but the huntsman hits the door and falls inside the car. We carried on and 20s later the driver told me not to move as Mrs Huntsman had crawled up the B pillar onto the roof above my head.
Just as I look up she has fallen and out of nowhere I karate chopped her onto the ground followed by a very ensuring stomp from my right foot.
Why do they have to be so big!
