Images now supported!

Thanks to our shiny new server, the option to upload images directly through the forums is back in action! (after only 4 years of being turned off).

The system should accept any size image (which will then be resized automagically) and will then insert a thumbnail (like the one above and the ones below). You can then click on the images to get a larger image and hit the next button to cycle through all images in the post.

Here is a couple of 4MB jpg's from the VW Nationals that were uploaded (all at the same time) and inserted with a single click* (although I did add a little formatting to put a space between the photos for neatness).





I have also added an little Image Gallery (in the menu up there ^^^). Galleries can be made from images you have previously uploaded while posting or manually uploaded directly into a gallery. You can even insert images you have previously put into a gallery from within a post (in the advanced view).

Just maybe need to note that you can only actually see the pictures if you log in ... otherwise its just the name of the file ... good reason to register and log in

Thanks for that, never bothered checking what non-registered users could see

I have tweaked that, they can now view the thumbnails, but not download/view the full size images.

Thanks Aaron. It works well, I can upload pictures straight from my phone now, without hosting them and it's quite quick too.
