What a question this one is. It's great to see some of the influences here.
I was raised with an extended family of all girls and so I didn't have any guy cousins or friends to play with before the age of 4. Mum and Dad say that when I was little I changed. I went from playing with whatever the girls were playing and one day, I decided to make a lego block into a car and smash into stuff and race the lego block car around the house with genuine race car noises (this was very distressing to my cousins and aunty
).
I think if I can attribute my love of cars and pride I try to take in my cars, I would have to mention my Grandad. He was a mechanic his whole life and had Holdens and always took pride and cared for them. I mightn't even remember some of our earlier car talks but I'm sure they were a big influence. I definitely don't get any car love that from my Dad, although he's willing to listen to me ramble on.
Ever since those days I've been into cars. I can still remember seeing my first ever R32 skyline in the 90's (GTR I think), that was a great moment.
I've liked a lot of different cars in my life, including some domestic metal, I think I'm just a car person at heart.
