Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

      Me too..

Shannons and YOUI Car were almost 40% higher premium than AMMI and Allianze (and I'm 44 with a 60% no claim bonus driving a locked up unmodified R36).

They both asked me to get to them in 12 months!!! LOL

I was hoping that allianz being a German company would give discounts to VW's, but the woman on the line didn't seem to agree.

Though they were the cheapest for me at $439

Haha, I'm still trying to work that out. I did the online quote, then rang up to confirm it was alright, then I paid for it online, and then called them upand listed my additional mods that weren't on the online quote (a chip tune is part of the options on the online quote that I added),
and it still didn't add to the premium!!
The only other things I added to it were windscreen cover, hire car coverage, and rating protection, and it all came to $688.
