Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • Mk6 Golf 118TSI PCV parts - wreck?

I'm on the hunt for a wrecker with a 118TSI (I'm sure there should be lots of them!) to scavenge the PCV breather pipes to build myself an oil catch can. The idea is to make up the required parts without having to pull mine apart or sacrifice the ability to go back (should I ever need or want to). It also means I still have a driving car if I screw something up

Part number is 03C 103 474 AB is that helps.

To that end it can be busted up since I'm going to have to cut it up anyway, so a broken cheap one would be perfect and much better than the many hundreds of dollars a new one costs.

If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.
