    Centre console trim torx screws

A couple of questions: I pulled apart the centre console in my Polo 6C to install an extra USB socket in the dash, and along the way I dropped one of the torx screws into where the multimedia control unit goes, nowhere to be seen.

So my first question is, where can I buy a replacement screw?...

  • How to remove M6 rounded/seized screws from MK5 door?

I recently acquired another MK5 GTI (can't help myself) and was set to replace the door lock actuator, so removed the door skin and then get to removing the M6 screws holding the actuator in place, but managed to round off the screw so that I can no longer remove the screws anymore.

    Mk6 Golf 118TSI PCV parts - wreck?

I'm on the hunt for a wrecker with a 118TSI (I'm sure there should be lots of them!) to scavenge the PCV breather pipes to build myself an oil catch can. The idea is to make up the required parts without having to pull mine apart or sacrifice the ability to go back (should I ever need or want to)....

  • Missing screws on the ignition ramp. Can someone tell me what they are?

    Hey guys,

Just noticed that the 2 screws holding down the ignition ramp are missing (previous owner).

I'm replacing soon the 4 spark plugs and I'd prefer to have the ignition properly secured.

Does anyone know what kind of screw size goes in there?...

Odd warranty claim coming up - Mk3 Octavia

OK - odd one. Mk3 Octavia owners, can you check your cars please?

I've noticed a rust bubble forming under the paint, immediately underneath the fuel-filler flap which originally looked like a stone chip. Upon closer inspection, it's actually a screw from INSIDE the rear wheelarch, which...

  • Identifying part - plastic cap over Torx screw for rear light assembly (sedan/hatch)

I have lost one of the plastic circular screw caps that cover the Torx screws for my Skoda Superb 3T DSG Sedan/Hatch (MY11). Below is an image. You can see the cap over the top screw and the cap missing from the bottom screw.

Any ideas what the part number for this is? Is there anywhere...

    Am I blind?

This might sound ridiculous, but is anyone here aware of any blindspots?

I was at a T-junction today and pulled out perilously close to another car that I simply failed to see driving left to right.

I don't think the pillars are particularly thick or the wing...

    Hey guys,

So I have this torx bolt that has been stripped in my TSI. Is there anywhere to get a replacement for it? Please see pictures attached. I've looked up methods on how to remove it (i.e. cut into it so a flat head screw driver can fit), but if you guys have any other suggestions...

1979 VW Golf Diesel Injection Pump

    Hello,

My problem relates to a leaking brass fitting on the fuel injection pump, right next to where the return fitting/banjo is for the fuel. The Brass or zinc plated fitting looks to have a small allen key grub screw in it, possibly a mixing screw. I can not access it unless I take the...

  • Disassemble Centre Console

    Hi,

Have a MK7 GTI and would like to get under the centre console. 1. I think the ends of an accessory plug may have fallen through and 2. Would like to see about wiring in some more accessory plugs underneath to hide my dash cam power source etc. (Yes, very OCD about neatness) For once
