As this post popped up again I thought I'll update on how the wipertech blades went.
Around June/July 2023 (say 14 months ago) the wipertech blades were put on my T-Roc.
They were really good, no skipping or anything like that and performed to the same standard as when first fitted.
The T-Roc was updated in April so just before handing in the old T-Roc I replaced the wipertech blades with the OEM ones, these were still like new.
New T-Roc came home and a full ceramic coat was applied including all glass. The brand new OEM blades initially worked alright but then started to skid/shudder after about 6-8 weeks. The wipertech ones were sitting around so I placed these ones on.
Back to working as they should, clear wipe covering full wipe sweep and no skipping.
Points to note -
There have been a lot of complaints about the quality of OEM wiper blades on T-Rocs from UK forums.
Wipertech front blades are a match in size for the fronts but due to a redesign rear wiper arm I can't get the rear yet.
I have had plenty of rain to use them in over the past few months and like I said in post #11 the windscreen is always kept clean with the blade rubber conditioned and cleaned regularly.
As a direct replacement over Volkswagen's crappy blades I would recommend the wipertech ones. Bosch versus Wipertech, I was not really impressed with the Bosch ones after a few months.
On another note I have replaced my Audi's wiper blades with Wipertech. Can't see any difference between the two yet except the cost difference. Audi is about twice the cost.
