Back in a dub

Hey all, just picked up a new car since I decided the S4 could use a rest from daily duties.

It's a 2002 VW Bora 4motion M6.
It's reasonably clean but needs a little tidying up here and there.

Here's a couple pics of how she sits at the moment.







First thing I did was spend an hour yesterday bringing the headlights back to life. They were quite crusty looking, made the car look much nicer once done.

Ordered some service bits and pieces from ECS on Monday (their Sunday) and it arrived today (why aren't Aussie companies this quick with their service?)

So looks like the old girl will get a Haldex/transmission and engine oil/filter change over the long weekend woohoo

So I kind of got a little carried away the past couple days.
I debadged her on the weekend and then I started thinking I needed new wheels so as it's a daily and I don't want to spend a bomb I ordered a set of 5x100<5x112 15mm spacer adapters so i can try to run the wheels off the S4. One thing led to another and I now have a set of coilovers enroute smh.

So had these arrive this afternoon

42DD 15mm and 20mm spacer adapters.



Also these turned up too.

I'll have to get some new shots, she's changed quite a bit since the day I brought her home. Now the train has eased up I may be able to finally give her a scrub.

I very nearly purchased your old Polo GTI when it was advertised at the dealer... I took too long to decide tho, and I had to sell my Golf first. I have now done nearly all I want to the Golf and I'm pleased I stuck with it.

The Bora is up for sale now since I've picked up a new ride. Anyone interested shoot me a message.

Yes, the dealer in the 'Gong. Would have been a long drive to get it from northern NSW, but I was ready for it...
They weren't prepared to offer me what I wanted for mine as trade...We haggled over the phone a couple of times.
I know it sat there for a good while and I was hoping it would've lasted a bit longer....
By the time I got things sorted on my end, it was gone. I loved how you had it set up, stock suspension sux. LOL
