No he's right, they are too overpriced in this country. I mean in the UK the base model non cup is cheaper than a Polo GTI and the so is the stripped out Cup version.

Yes we get a lot of the luxury extras that are options over there but they're still to pricey. $36.5 for the Cup and $39k for the Trophee is too much (that's before onroads too). $34k for the Cup and $36.5 with onroads is a much more reasonable price (similar price to the previous 172s and 182s). That said it's still cheaper and better to drive than a Mini Cooper S. It could be much worse though, look at the price of a Lotus in the UK in comparison to how much it costs here!

At the end of the day it's not like a Golf or Polo GTI, it's not trying to be a consummate all rounder that appeals to everybody for all conditions.

    Cheers,
    Trent

Give it 2/3 years and 200's will hopefully be 24 - 28k. Give it 5 years, and perhaps they'll be sub 20k. Can't wait!

So clean shiny you could try to eat off of it but the food would constantly slide off. Plus I'd then have to lay the smack down for putting food all over my car.

Happy Birthday to the Clio for yesterday. One year on, 15,500kms or so and not one single stereotypical French car problem, in fact there's been no problems at all (touch wood for the future).
Still the miss the R32 though maybe one day I'll have the money to buy another one and fix it up to how they all should be (still with the Clio in the garage though).
            Cheers,
            Trent
