Email Notifications Failing (mostly Telstra)
Hello everyone. Seems there is an issue with Telstra (possible others) blocking email from our server. If you are trying to sign up I would suggest a different email if possible. If you're trying to reset your password and it fails please use the Contact Us page:
I'm starting to like it a little more after sitting in it last night.
Apart from the Recaro crushing my man bits on the way in, of course.
Maybe if you'd put the seat back for your gigantism 6"+ height instead of leaving it at my 5"8' short ass position then you would've have had the problems.
If you're lucky maybe next time you can have a little drive (even though it does have a better power to weight ratio than a stock MkVI or MkV Golf GTI which you're not allowed to drive).
Cheers,
Trent
Just some random shots I took this afternoon. Not that great quality or anything but I hope it gives you guy a good idea of how the car looks with the roof etc. Window tinting get done tomorrow so there will be even more pointless photos of a car that's not VAG.
Cheers,
Trent
This is a tight little package, looks ace.
Love the fender vents and the black roof.
Did it not come with Navigation?
It's a factory option but I didn't spec it. They do a pretty sweet unit actually, it's a TomTom unit that replaces the radio display. You update maps and other TomTom subscriptions via the SD card exactly as you do with a portable unit.
Cheers,
Trent
Argh....everything minus the front bumper is good! Why did they have to make it so wavy hahaha.
Nice one man. It grew on me
Apparently the front splitter is actually functional and helps direct air to the brakes. Same goes with the brake vents and the rear diffuser generates 30kg of downforce at speed. At what speed though is another thing (for any of them). No at any of our legal speeds is my guess.
I still reckon it looks trick.
Cheers,
Trent
i believe the 30kg is at 200km/hr
great cars, came close to buying a 197 myself but didnt want to pony up the extra cash!
Take some interior shots, the seats are pornography!
I've read 35kg at 100km/h and then somewhere else 40kg at 130km/h so who knows really. Either way unless I'm on a track it's not going to be useful.
Cheers,
Trent

Hehe, yes I've already discovered the interesting bendable quarter panels and rear bumper. It's crazy how far the thing can push in and flex. Nice idea though that rather than having panels buckle and crack you just have them bend and then pop back into shape.
Also, no key it's got keyless entry and keyless go (standard).
And peak power is at 7100rpm and redline is at 7500rpm. It has a nice visual and audible gear change inidication though to ensure you're not bouncing off the limiter.

Trent
