I can never get my head around why people do what your doing.
Wouldnt a civic be cheaper? Why not spend it on engine mods or a mean sterio or at least a set of wicked rims or some sweet body work? How can you not see that the kit doesnt compliment or improve on the design of the car? What benefits are there from it apart from impressing yourself and 12yr olds?
Fair enough its what you want, but I have never understood why.
Maby a good paint job and an excelent stance will make it look decent.MK1 GLS 3door

How does the front bumper bolt up. I mean factory ones bolt up to the radiator support behind the grille but your grille appears to be part of the bumper. Am I missing something?
Is the shark fin functional or a dummy?
I think spacers would enhance the kit some more.
Good work for doing something different!

Also Rieger wouldn't make it if there wasn't a market for it.Mk IV Golf GTI - BMP - GIAC chip, R32 wheels, KW coilovers, rear swaybar.

I dont see how its being different if heeps of people have the same kit slaped on a standard car. I realy hate it when people do a 'Fast n the Furious' and call it different and unique.MK1 GLS 3door

2. If they have been around long enough to open the door themselves, make sure you don't give them a ring to scratch it...

So instead of 7 bolts, you use 4.
I reckon you could even out the gap between the bonnet and grille, but lifting your bumper reinforcement (reo) slightly on one side.
What I mean by this, is leave the screws that go between reo and radiator support (RS) and loosen 3 of the 4 larger bolts that hold the reo and lift on one side, then tighten.
Will lift the entire RS and enable better line up with your new bumper.
Not sure if you knew this already but the uneven gap was something I noticed.
Looking very sweet, can't wait to see future progress!Mk IV Golf GTI - BMP - GIAC chip, R32 wheels, KW coilovers, rear swaybar.
