I reckon 79. Big bar's, earlier style dash. 79 was the last year with that style dash too.
80 had the new dash & striped trim & 81 had the big rear lights along with the A-pillar deflector's, angled door pull's & bigger door bin's.
Its a late 1980 but the above spec of the what you state is a 79, also it has the 5 speed box.
Sorry, my mistake. Jan 80 was the intro of 5 speed & the early dash ran upto Aug. 1980. I should have remembered as I have an 80 mk1 here with early dash.
Sept. 80 had the new dash & striped trim
