Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Wow, love the way your VR6 looks! Your Mk1 looks very clean too!

Got me very jealous indeed. Those wheels on your VR6, are they 15's?

            Present: Mk3 Golf variant.

Yeah the rims are factory 15's, they look bigger since I have lowered the car.

Nice cars, the Mk1 especially. It looks best on the black 13s I reckon!

They both look great. The lowered stance of the V6 gives it a very purposeful look. A great pair of dubs.

Also love the stance on the VR6. Nice work.

What year is the GTI? I`d say 78, as it has small taillights.

I reckon 79. Big bar's, earlier style dash. 79 was the last year with that style dash too.
80 had the new dash & striped trim & 81 had the big rear lights along with the A-pillar deflector's, angled door pull's & bigger door bin's.
