  • Where do I find the ECU?

    Can somebody please telll me where I can find the ECU as I need to trace and test the MAF wiring.

    It's in the engine bay, near the battery.

    It's below that black box that hangs off the front of the battery.
    '07 Transporter 1.9 TDI

        You can get to the connectors on it without too much trouble.

          Umai, I had a look today but it was very 'closed in' with a lot of pipes etc covering it. Would you happen to have a picture or perhaps send me a link to a video? I looked on YouTube but nothing related to the T4 Transporter.

              If my memory serves me well its attached to the inner firewall just to the right of the battery when viewed from the front , easy way would be to remove the battery .

                Found it down the front of my fuse box in front of the battery. Seems like I will have to remove the headlight to get to it. It is very cramped but it can be done.
