Being a 2010, is it the earlier 5 cylinder 2.5L model or the later 2.0L T5GP/T5.2/103TDI model with the 4 cylinder turbo? The bodies are pretty much the same as it was a facelift + new engine (and gearbox?).

We are about to tick over 160,000 in our 2010 Multi T5.2 and other than a busted EGR very early on it hasn't missed a beat.

If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.

But dont start a post complaining how bad they are as mine got closed.
So much for this being a forum to discuss things.
If you try and warn others your post gets closed.

I'm in the same boat as the OP. Had a T4 transporter that was great and now looking at getting a T5 Multivan. Entering the decision cautiously and would appreciate both pro's and cons. Forums hey!
