    Engine Rebuilder Recommendations

    Hi All,

    I have a 1974 1600 Kombi that I am restoring and am looking for recommendations for an engine rebuilder. Does anyone know of a good reliable engine rebuilder? I'm in South Western Australia, but anyone in Australia is fine.

      Auto Haus restortations on the Gold Coast may be a place to start . Then there is Mick Motors in Brisbane , if you head to a news agent see if you can buy a copy of the VW magazine it is nothing but aircooled engines and has dozens of places around Australia that specialize in older VW,s . I was having new tyres fitted yesterday and was reading the last few copies and was amazed of how big the VW aircooled scene still is .Volkswagen Magazine Australia. © 2017
