A previous owner of my car filled the car with an incorrect green coolant. I have attempted bleeding the system but I don't think that i have removed all of the original coolant!
I have drained the coolant out of the system by disconnecting the lower left radiator hose (I could not find a drain point, although a manual i have seen shows two drain plugs near the water pump??), it was quite messy and hard to catch. I have now filled the system with Penrite coolant flush and distilled water. I ran the engine for 15mins as requested (with the heaters on high). Problem is now that the flush has circulated the system the colour of the coolant is green again? So obviously I didn't bleed the system completely!? I have Pink Premix Penrite G12 equivalent ready to top up, but I want all of the original coolant out! Can someone please give me a straightfoward guide to bleeding the original coolant properly and then filling back up correctly!
Thanks!
