    Hi folks,

Started the beast today and heard some fluttering noise from the engine bay. Popped the bonnet and discovered this:

Can any identify what this hose is and if it would be safe to drive to the local mechanic?

    Thanks in advance!

If I am not mistaken its just a re breather hose it catches blow by gases and recirculates them back through the engine intake . Not a big deal should be fine to drive .

      PCV breather.

Van probably runs like a dog because of it too, yeah?

The likes of Pirtek stock oil-resistant silicone hose that is the right diameter and much more robust than the original hose.

Thank you so much for your quick response gentlemen and for your expert advice!

Yeah it certainly wasnt overly smooth when running, will definitely drop into Pirtek hopefully during the week to see what they can arrange...

        thanks so much again!!!
