On the 132kw Bi-Turbo motors.

Hi guys, I've just come across this site whilst googling an EGR fault with my 2010 VW Transporter 132kw Bi turbo.
It came up with a flashing glow plug light and a steady engine light.
After having VW diagnose it I was told it required an exhaust temp sensor and an EGR valve, $413 and $3242 respectively. This just 3 months out of warranty.
I replaced exhaust sensor in less than 10 mins and it has stopped flashing glow plug light however engine light is still steady and power is being restricted ( not quite limp mode but definitely restricted )
Needless to say I was looking for any info on replacing EGR valve

So the EGR valve is $3242???????
Mine has had it replaced twice already.
Question: VW genuine parts are covered by a 2 year warranty..........Does that 2 years warranty also cover parts that were replaced under warranty?Comment

It would be very close to $2000 as that quote includes 8 hours labour.Comment
