A friend of mine has a sign business , he does a lot of this wrapping process for customers and tourist buses as well . I remember when the T5 was first released they had a display of VW commercial vans at the Southbank Piazza in Brissie that were done , the only problem was the closer you got the worse it looked as there were bubbles around inside corners and around the door openings and handles it was peeling . Looks good if done correctly but all this stuff has a limited lifetime .I also saw this Youtube clip when I found the air ride one . Howard

But in long run it would be like the window tint, eventually it bubbles and lifts even on areas where you never touched it. Still looks good and it's the kind of black that I would accept on my van.
I agree it's best done on a brand new vehicle.Performance Tunes from $850Wrecking RS OCTAVIA 2 Link

I have seen window tint that has been on cars for over 10 years, and there was no lifting.....and then I have seen crappy tint jobs that does lift.
