  • Rear Fog Lights?

Does anyone have rear fog lights on their Multivan?

We got the front fog lights and when you pull the switch out once it turns on the front fog lights and if you pull it out once more the rear right fog light comes on. It's built into the rear tail light. But nothing happens on the left side.
Just wondering if anyone else has this and if just their rear right side comes on.

The rear light you talk about is a high intensity fog light for those misty rainy days like we have been having in Qld lately {or constantly as it has been } , its only on on one side as a warning to those following , I am not sure why one only maybe because its so bright . I know some idiots out there often have the rear fog light on every day in their cars without rain and its bloody annoying being behind them . There also could be an ADR that they have to comply to , the reason for it being on only on the right side is that it is the side cars would normally pass you on if you are keeping to the left , in Europe it would be the opposite .Howard PS T4,s have them in the rear bumper and there are one each side but one does not have a light fitting or wire harness going to it .

I was under the impression that the wiring actually went to both a
Sides but only one was coded to work... I also thought you could turn both on, however I haven't looked into it

If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.

Trust me one is bright enough two would be overkill and would probably result in some fist waving and horn blowing , also lets face it [you] can t see the thing anyway whilst driving . As I said before I get annoyed at the idiots who either don,t realise or are just plain ignorant of the warning light that indicates the rear light is on as some of them have them on all the time !!!!!

That seems to apply to drivers of older Hyundai Excels. Drives me crazy too!
