Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    New headlights for T5.2

    Just seen these new headlamps for the T5.2 so thought I would show you with new vans...

    I will get back to you when some prices come out.

            I reckon your paying a bit for them being first to market.

            I don't think they are RHD either based on the ad.

            I bought T5 LED headlights from the EU and have already heat and split them to modify the projectors from LHD to RHD, and it is no small amount of work I'll give you that. I'll hopefully have them sorted in a few weeks.

              Yeh, but they look good and should I need to buy new front lights I would pay for it as long as they would be RHD.
              It would be cheaper than upgrade to a new van, IMO anyway.

                Check these out RHD compliant and Au approved and available here in Aus from Fleabay [ ah I mean Ebay ] Black LED DRL Head Lights VW TRANSPORTER T5 headlight | eBay , and it states plug and play with some bulb options Howard

                  They are for the prefaclift T5. The lights the OP is talking about are for the faclift, T5.2/T5GP, model.
                  Personally I'm hoping VGA decides to offer the factory Bixenon light option here when I order my van in the next year or so. Wife has already approved that option, dependent on cost.

                    Factory Bi-Xenons is indeed an option on MY12 T5.2s ..... my new MY12 TSI350 MV will have it.
