Yes that connector is for can bus it shows it in the diagram the holes on the right are the speaker connections shown as LF - LF + RF - RF + and so on these can be plugged to your new unit but you may have to use some electrical spade connectors . I would suggest a CAN BUS connector with your new unit just in case . The older T5 has direct wiring that means there was an earth wire a continuous positive for memory an accessory wire plus lighting and some others that I now forget what they did If I get a chance I,ll have alook at mine and let you know .Howard
