wow, i have always gone by the plate and that is at 51 front 54 rear !!
i got good wear too, so i am wondering why most of you are running them a lot lower? you would think that is there for a reason..
it says that it should not be lower than that??

I assume you're running 16" wheels tapsy?

Those figures are correct

235/55/17 are rated lower at 290kpa front and back which works out around 42psi so I'm not too far off that either at 45

For the ride comfort, I always assumed those pressures were for a fully loaded van, but who knows.

Just called up a Bob jane and they told me the Maxxis vanpros are now obsolete! Leaning towards the bridgestone D693's now...

I had mine fitted last week too! They are still in the brochure "light truck, commercial" under UA-103
when i was getting quotes all the Bob Jane stores said they could not get them that they were 'unavailable', I went to an independent store that had Maxxis signs everywhere and they said yes not a problem we have them at the suppliers can get that day.
i tried a few other places and they had them but for about $25 bucks more for each tyre.

not sure on the pressures still, we went away on weekend and i checked tyres beforehand and had 45 in them, so i put them up to the 50
and it rode very well, maybe a bit responsive but quite, i may ring the guy that put them on and ask about pressures.

Just got the Maxxis Vanpro's fitted last friday! Definitely still available, just not through Bob Jane for some odd reason. Tread depth when new - 10mm's, now lets see how long it holds up! The drive of the van is slightly better, feels a little less sluggish.

Haven't played around with the tyre pressures yet, but it's running 350kpa ll around. Van is usually fully loaded. Haven't driven on the tyres much since I got them as I've been on holidays

Q1. Will they fit on my 6.5" T5 rims and under my front wheel arches without rubbing ?

Q2. To what extent will it alter my speedo readings?

Q3. Will the tyres be road legal in Vic on my T5?

I have four Maxxis VanPro's on mine, so far they have done 50,000km and look like they will do another 50k. I think they were $200 each at Bob Jane.

I'm in the market for tyres for my T5 4Motion (215/65/R16C - T Speed Rated), and wanted to clarify the actual Maxxis tyres you have Brian.

The Maxxis website lists MALAS VANPRO (in SUV & Recreation)
Maxxis SUV & Recreational MALAS VANPRO

Others in the thread seem to mention UA-103 but don't see them on Maxxis website. Maxxis list a UE-103 in Light & Heavy Truck, but seems a different tyre to the VanPro

I purchased my Maxxis VANPRO tyres for $197ea fitted, from Tyrepower. Tread depth is one of the deepest I've ever seen. 6 weeks on, haven't had a single problem with them.
