That is true, hence I bought one really cheap, but that didn't lower their resale value because they were the last of the old style fuel injection. The new version shuts down cylanders on highways etc and alot of people don't want the first model of a new design.... turns out to be a win win for me!

      I'd prefer pre-AFM as well.

Well if everything goes to plan, I will pick it up, take it to get the wheels straight on and start bolting in my channels in the back to hold 2 sports bikes, side by side, so there will be plenty of photo's!!

Tinting will be in a few weeks me thinks.... I don't get many days off to get stuff done, so the rest will take time!!

Where can I get chrome mirror covers in Sydney? or anyone post? all the ones I have found are for the left hand drive vehicles....

Someone will soon chip in hopefully however I seem to remember a UK site offering some things, if I can find it I'll post a link. I don't recall a local supplier offering such things, hopefully I'm proven wrong.

Edit: I found this in the UK so at least you have a price point . http://www.van-x.co.uk/t5_mirror_cover.htm

                Thanks Tornado!!

If anyone else knows some local people that do these? I hate ordering this type of stuff from oversea's because if there is a scratch or anything, there is not much I can do about it but throw away money to find others...

I actually prefer picking up a new car mid-week and in the morning if possible as the dealers are not as rushed compared to a Friday afternoon and you have 2 working days to go back should something not be to your liking...however I can imagine the delay being frustrating.

Is it because of needing more time fitting some options or hasn't it arrived at the dealer yet?

the painters who are doing the front and rear bars are taking their time... they said it would take a week max... now they said it will be ready 'midweek' which i take as wednesday....

I wil pick it up first thing in the morning, then straight off to get some rims and some custom stuff for carrying bikes in the back

Then some guys put some stuff underneath and lifted it up and stole the original wheels...

Then 22's... chrome lip with alloy face and black in the side bits...

That looks sweet! Just some tint and you're all set.

Going down to the dealers this weekend to get myself a T5. I just got a job position that won't last, so I might purchase the van sooner than expected

Hopefully I can get it low 40's!
