I have an old T4 in the back yard, retired 10 years ago. The ignition key refused coming out 5 yr back or more. I’ve just started using the locking fuel cap from T4 on my T5 that is experiencing locking actuator probs on passenger door. I’d like to get that key out as a spare. Figure the T4 auto park brake sensor might have failed ( could normally only remove key when in park). Do I need to pull the lock out of the steering column to free the key? Hoping there is an easy way.

door lock probs for T5, depends how mech inclined you are.
If the door is openable tackle it now, before it gets stuck in closed position
