tosspot my dad said the same thing regarding them being run in before i get my hands on it. You hear so many different opinions on how to/not to run in a car, can make it confusing.
This is where you need to get other Chip tuning manufacturers in so that you have 1 dyno and a whole lot of different chipped cars, with the exact same mods and go from there to end all chip threads lol.
I'll come up for this if there's anyone that wants to try Custom-Code.

If possible I'd like to try testing a small mod as well to see how it stacks up.
I propose we test (on 1 car only) a stock diverter, a Forge replica, a Turbosmart one, a Forge one and an APR R1 diverter on different runs.
Should be interesting and the best one will get a sale from me.
Reason... I believe my Forge replica is not holding boost all that well.

Have you got it the plumbed like the std one? Does it have an uprated spring in it? I can't see a piston one, plumbed the right way round leaking much at all.

Yes, plumbed in like stock. Its solid aluminium, quite nice, not leaking but I think the spring is the culprit and would like to experiment with different springs settings, problem is I only have 1 spring for it and not sure if it is the correct one.

Hi all - am a longtime lurker for the great info on these forums. Hopefully picking up my black Polo GTI from a guy on Monday if everything goes smoothly - finally!!! Can't wait. It's a 2006 with just 11000k on the clock so far.
I'm in Brisbane, and would definitely be up for this. This is my first "decent" car so am looking to learn all that I can including all the performance stuff!
Gent's - its not meant to be a sales day, so it doesn't need sponsors - its meant as a diagnostic day & a tutorial / education session.
We would like to show you how heat soak can throw a dyno run off 10 - 15kw & how tyre pressures can alter it 5 kw as well.
Hopefully the dyno operator will also be able to run through correction factors, ramp rates & settings as well - and also explain why there can be 15kw difference in 3 consecutive power runs.
