    Hey guys,

Has anyone had a custom pipe made in Qld?

I'm here for a few days and it seems much cheaper to have it made here with the only exception that I don't have my car for them to work on?

Do let me know on what can be done or where you guys have done it before.

    Thanks

I don't think you'll find anyone to make one without the car as they use it for reference.

Pity. The price difference is quite massive. I was quoted 750 in qld and 1250 in Perth. How long would they need the car for?

I contacted Malaga rampauto for 900 dp as with rgv. I contacted genie exhaust for 1250 for downpipe and high flow cat. I also contacted Rob bliss in Qld for 750 downpipe and magnaflow cat. That's why I was looking for someone with a polo in qld for a favour. Comes with a carton of beer if anyone bites.

Give Carline in either Malaga or northbridge a call, they are very good on price and will do a very good job.

Joe from Elite Euro in Wangara can help you out
My exhaust was done 2 years back so I couldn't guarantee on the price now
                    But worth a shot

Thanks guys. Having a few quotes done up now. Waiting on Joe from Elite Euro for a quote tomorrow, as well as Carline Grapnel Mufflers in Balcatta. Malaga RampAuto was as rgvlee stated, 900 for dp and 1.8 for a full exhaust which is quite tempting.

You can probably get Milltek TBE for those numbers.

Would a Milltek turboback > custom? I wouldn't mind going either way as long as its value for money

I didn't bother with a full system, I fabbed up a dump pipe and spent money elsewhere.
The existing system after the cat/resonator is pretty much straight through, sure it's only 2 1/4 inch, but unless you are going all out with a stage 3 tune, then the money is probably better spent on a intercooler upgrade or a tune.

You're definitely going to want an inter cooler with summer coming, in the cold its not reqlly required, but in an Aus summer, it makes a big difference, esp in traffic / suburban situations.
