Hi. I have been having trouble finding metal skid plates in Australia. They're easy to find internationally, but they don't ship down here, and any parcel forwarding is insanely expensive.
I was wondering if it's possible to find any down here as the plan is to use it as a regularity rally...

Update my 2017?
I've been thinking about updating my 2017 Arteon to a 22 or 23 model. I haven't been able to find much about what changes VW have made since mine was manufactured, are there many? Have they made any good upgrades to the electronics etc? Any particularly desirable changes in the newer models?

Back in an Amarok again ... sob :(
My son destroyed my previous Amarok, it was a new one with ARB gear dripping all over. A long sad story there but that's not where I want to go with this post.
I recently got my hands on what I thought was a good honest 2014 dual cab tray back auto 4WD and as time ticks along I'm fearing...

Hi Guys,
I have a very interesting situation and need some guidance on next steps
So i gave my Golf Mk6 2012 TDI for repairs which is fine, but VW Service made a mistake on updating my software of Diesel Emission despite of me already opting out. Both VW and myself have written...

Basic intake mod
Something that has always annoyed me on the Arteon is how only one intake inlet is open (AU driver side), while the other side is blocked.
When I had the R600 installed, I thought it'd be opened up, but apparently not. So, today I made up a couple of fins to hold the plastic/rubber...Last edited by nermal; 25-05-2023, 08:57 PM.

Interchangeable keys
Tonight I was maybe 5 metres away from my mk8, which was unlocked. When my cousin walked past and pressed the unlock button for her mk7 it made my car's interior lights turn on. She reckons she's had this happen with other Golfs.

Hello there
Hi there.
I have got a '17 206 R-line Passat wagon which has been a great car - practical and punchy.
The forum had some great info on coding tweaks and ended up with an OBDeleven which I have made some handy changes with.
Thanks.

Roof racks for Fabia
Hi All,
I have a set of rails originally used on a Octavia but lost the key. Looks like they also fit on my Fabia. What are my options if any to try and get keys made or locking unit replaced? Not worth it? They're branded Skoda but pretty sure they're Thule.
Thanks!

Wrecker or private sale
It's time to say goodbye to our beloved Mk5 Golf Comforline. My wife and I bought it new in 2005 as our first car together and it's been a great unit. Wife want's to get a new car though, so being the oldest, it needs to go.
Red book says Private Price Guide is $1,800 - $4,100 for the...

A EGR delete that I brought from Dark-side Development in England, never fitted, to sell, make an offer, made for a 103 kw motor.
