The same offset super pro bush will do either anti-dive/anti-lift or castor. Its the same offset bush kit used in either set up. Its how you fit it that determines the geometry you get.
For anti-lift you fit the eccentric portion vertically down. This tilts the wishbone down quite a bit at the back. It does this so much so that I could barely get the new front LCA bolt through at all as I'd machined up tighter tolerance centers for bushes.
For castor you fit the eccentric to the outside of the bush console ie 90 degress around toward the hub from the anti-dive position. As Stuwey said this forces the ball joint forward giving more castor.
I had wondered if it was possible to fit them between the two positions ie 45 degrees around from the anti dive position to get the best of both worlds but didn't want to be a guinea pig on such a prick of a job.

Your last point was along the same lines I was thinking, as I couldn't see in the instructions how you'd get anti lift and castor at the same time.

Gavins post about his superpro bushes

One of them is the 3273 anti lift, other looks like the standard 3271, if so you're running the offset kit?

Yes offset, hole at the bottom. This is the same as I set the red devil for Anthony.

Agree with Gav, I also definitely noticed significantly reduced axle tramping and the Polo powered on straight as an arrow, where it was pointed. I must say that the Eddys custom subframe bolts would assist as with this as well. Well worth doing.

Its hard to say without trying both, either are better than stock, improving geometry is a great idea, a vibrating bumpy ride is the trade off.
I'd go road over race, the extra stiffness is going to be a huge negative for daily driving IMO.

I'm going with the road anti lift (3273) set. Report back in a few weeks.

This is the installation sheet from SuperPro
Judging from the part numbers there are just 2 bushes 3271 and 3273
The 3 settings are achieved by using different combinations of the 2 bushes
                  ie SPF3271K(standard) = 3271 + 3271
                  SPF3272K(caster) = 3273 + 3271
                  SPF3273K(anti lift) = 3273 + 3273

I got the SPF3273K one installed, come around and give it a try if you like

Yes I alluded to that on the previous page. What confused me was superpro market the 3273 pair as increased castor as well and I can't see how they achieve it. Anti lift, sure, but both not so.

The only time you would use the "SPF3272K(caster) = 3273 + 3271" combination is if you had a gross lack of castor on the LHS and needed to correct it with an offset bushe. I'd be looking at subframe misalignment before I corrected something with an odd set of bushes though. If your alignment figures are all ok the only decision you need to make is if you'll run a set of offsets or a set of non-offsets.

Didn't mean to ignore your post there but I have a strange ability to occasionally jump over some posts without knowing(some kind of disorder? lol)

As a result of not asking for the alignment data printout every time I do alignments, I don't even know what the standard caster on the Polo is
But the caster with the anti-lift set installed on mine (eccentric part pointing down) is around 4°if that halps

Or like what sambb said, 45°outward from the anti-lift position
Technically this would not give you the full caster effect nor full anti-lift effect but you get both

Fair enough sambb. I was getting a bit confused with all the offset talk going on as to what people were actually running; i.e., the single offset/single standard setup or double offset 'anti lift' setup. I was referring to the offset kit as the one with the single offset bush hence a bit of confusion my end on interpreting opinions.

I'll fit up the 3273 anti-lift bushes and either run them at neutral or 45. Seems I'm not the only one to think running them at 45 should give a bit of both worlds.

                            Hoyhoy.

O.K. What's the flavour for the front bushes these days, I just spent the day with a go-pro underneath, & it looks like the front ones are shot.(these are custom 95 endure from Fulcrum, but a few years old.)
I was very surprised @ how good the Seat rear bushes are on the video.
I'm thinking of going back to the stock VW ones as they are solid rubber.
I also have in the back of my little brain of doing something solid in the way of some sort of bearing involved.
                            Please any comments appreciated.
                            Hooroo.

After Gav changed a few things on polo last weekend he noticed my LCA's were ones he nor I had seen before. They're red, unlike others purple or yellow ones. Not sure on brand as they weren't installed while I've owned the car but it's definitely not the standard ones as Gav said. Anyone else have red ones or seen them for sale? Just curious which brand they are

These are supposed to work very well for cars with an upright rear LCA bush (eg MkIV Golf and 6N and 6R Polo). Not sure if they make a version for horizontal bushes like ours.
