Guys, I have signed up for a Ralliart Colt.
Guess it was right place right time and the price was good. I suprised myself by not even test driving the Polo before I got the RColt.
Hope I have made the right decision.
What did put me off the GTi was the 'problems you've experienced' thread. I know it is only a small number of owners that have had the problems but I am not so keen to have my car in the workshop constantly to get things sorted out - I had experienced that enough with my Renault Sport Clio ... the stories in the thread was purely dejavu.
The GTi/Colt was never going to really be an upgrade from the Clio - driving wise. After a test drive of the RColt, this was confirmed. The Clio is just gives a raw as balls drive and it is just that much better - though a new car with 5/10 yr warranty, turbo and a pair of recaros comes mighty close.
Great site - you guys have been helpful - I will be lurking around.
Cheers guys.
