Well I'm gonna get a K&N panel filter cos the standard one is not looking 2 good
Plans are for a front mount and get it chipped and I'm sure that will be more than enough for a daily

Imo, stick with paper or move to pod in the box.

I don't understand how a pod in the box would work any better and most standard setups work alright and trying to keep it standard look
Been looking at buying the forge fmic but its says this

This front mounting intercooler kit is suitable for the Mk VII VW Polo 1.8T with a 9N2 chassis, late 2006-onwards.

Mine is a late 05 build 06 model is there any difference or will it be alright?

It's all the 9n3 chassis, same engine, etc so there's no reason it wouldn't fit that I know. May I ask why Forge, the brisbane dyno day thread/s may be worth a read. To paraphrase, great cooling properties but had pressure loss so erratic boost behaviour. The cooling benefit didn't outweigh the pressure loss.

My Seat Sport, along with piping was roughly $600 all landed from UK.

I don't want to buy a cooler on its own then all pipes off eBay and everything I want a complete kit hence why I was looking at the forge also those coolers look overkill bigger than the one on my rx7 lol

If any of those other coolers come in a kit complete plz show me a link cos I can't find it

Gavin sells the complete piping kit. Plus the SEAT will net you 6 more kw's atw plus a heap of torque over the forge. Dyno proven and cheaper

I was much the same though Gav (h100W) helped me out with specifics. I bought the clamps and pipes from APMotorstore in UK, not ebay. If you PM me your email address I can send the receipt with the parts and quantity. Gav was also getting the MAF sensor thingy welded to a handful of 90 degree elbows, send him a PM to clarify.

Don't get me know, I'm not product bashing (i've got other Forge gear and no complaints) or ranting over what I've got. If I can help with a purchase than happy to do so.

haha, there you go. Even better option. Do that as Gav has now done multiple installs so will be sure to give you the right gear, now tried and tested on dyno and track

+1 for Seat. Get the THS version if you can afford the extra. It has a much wider core.

Got a few pipe kits on the shelf or you can just get the MAP sensor pipe and do it yourself.

The standard setup is fine, its the PD160 stock bit thats restrictive. The pod is a little better, my thoughs are that it relates to having the air in a pipe, then dumped into a box, then back into a pipe. I've tried a few different ideas (open pods, stock panel, oiled panel, custom boxes (not fully enclosed), heat shields, but the pod in the box (stolen from UK Polo 320BHP build thread) is what I've found works best.

The benefits over stock are marginal, thats why I said stay with paper or go pod.
