Hey Sam where the F have you been hiding

My first Deka lasted 3 years and my second still going strong. You can't leave it for more than 2 weeks without starting before it needs a little help. But for $160 a pop and just shy of 15kg weight saving I really don't see any issues. Talking of course completely from first hand experience of above mentioned battery

      Hey Ant,
Super busy hey! Haven't had much time for the old girl lately unfortunately. I'll be at Happy Laps this weekend though (Well I hope so )
Good stuff, yeah I figure I need a new battery anyway so I may as well give it a go. I might grab a trickle charger and chuck it on every couple of weeks or so to keep it tip top.

My battery can't last much longer (2006), i'm keen to buy a replacement before it goes.

I'm not fussed with the standard size, but would love to save a bit of weight. Any options without going to a smaller battery that costs more and has lower cranking amps?

To clear up my question back at the start it would seem because i didnt use the car enough (like maybe once a fortnight at most) this wasnt good for the small battery, so just bought a brand new one ($229) ready for the new owner.
