Yes i worked it outOriginally posted by Stuwey View PostDid you end up sorting out the boost issue?
N75 must have been slowly dying. Car has not felt the same the last few months so I cranked the wastegate a little. I was thinking it had come loose and backed itself off, car feelt fine now.
Day before track day N75 only allows 18psi.
Does track day with 18psi
Gavin posts spare N75 (thanks Gav)
Installs spare N75 and car boost like a mofo !!
Guessing i need to back off on the wastegate now

+ try to find what the optimal 'hot' pressure range is for the tyres (the tyre dealer should know) and make sure you're within the range before any more suspension fiddling. 33psi cold sounds quite high for a semi-slick or even an ultra low profile, high performance tyre.Last edited by kaanage; 14-10-2013, 11:55 AM.

Did you end up sorting out the boost issue?Originally posted by vwthunder View PostFirst session out, well the car was not running that well only boosting to 18psi (N75 problem i think) so i took it easy and managed to get a PB on the 3rd lap. Tires felt awesome, really predictable. Had a bit of a miss/stutter going from 3rd to 4th.

As for the track, more practice

He went to Brisbane for a couple of months but will be back soon.
I think those are the ones Todd started out doing and they're $350 each - what are the EXE ones?

Jasonc23 has moved states (think NSW)Originally posted by kaanage View PostOne of the Sandown Adrenaline days? Are you after coaching?
You should get jasonc23 to sit in at one of the Tampered days.
WHat is the Sandown ones, are they the ones Toddzy does that are $500 or something ?

Yeah i hate the forge one, i will get rid of it one day and run no brace. Its always getting in the way whenever i work on the car, playing with TIP, N75 etcOriginally posted by noone View PostAre you still running the forge front strut brace? That thing is pretty flimsy, the UR one is on the heavy side but rigid.

Will you do the Melbourne Cup Day track day up there?Originally posted by vwthunder View PostHave to get back there soon, and play around more with the setup
Couldn't agree more - given that you can easily bend it by hand, I think the Forge 'brace' is a styling exercise.Originally posted by noone View PostAre you still running the forge front strut brace? That thing is pretty flimsy,
