Did you end up sorting out the boost issue?

As for the track, more practice

    • + try to find what the optimal 'hot' pressure range is for the tyres (the tyre dealer should know) and make sure you're within the range before any more suspension fiddling. 33psi cold sounds quite high for a semi-slick or even an ultra low profile, high performance tyre.

        Yes i worked it out

N75 must have been slowly dying. Car has not felt the same the last few months so I cranked the wastegate a little. I was thinking it had come loose and backed itself off, car feelt fine now.

Day before track day N75 only allows 18psi.
        Does track day with 18psi
Gavin posts spare N75 (thanks Gav)
Installs spare N75 and car boost like a mofo !!

Guessing i need to back off on the wastegate now

            Gauge is a great purchase.
I use Hankook Ventus TDs at the track. Cold I have them at 29psi, depending on the track temp they go up to 35-37. 36 hot is the optimum temp for these babies.

I had quite a few boost issues this year. You just know something's not right, especially when Dyno numbers are lower than expected and I'm running about 30psi boost. First to go was the DV! Then replaced the N75 and PCV. I've just done another PCV by the looks of the white smoke I'm getting at WOT. Now looking into getting a few spares and a possible oil pressure system like Accusump that APR have currently. Piece of mind too.

                              • I love how the glossiness makes the shape flow - even makes the 9N3 shape seem attractive
