Finally got the new 2.0T coilpacks and adapters in the mail today. Might save fitting them until after my tune to see if they do in fact make a difference - pretty confident I won't notice anything beforehand?

They're in - this is obviously before putting the black plastic hoses and **** over the top. Have no idea what that stuff's for, but is there a delete for it all? It's the stuff that covers the left two coil packs. Really easy 'no knowledge' mod to do, plug and play. Probably a complete placebo, but it does feel a little perkier. Will let you guys know if the economy improves too.

Search for the SAI/n249 delete. There's been a lot of discussion about it recently. It's a really easy mod which improves DV response by removing the vacuum reservoir system (all that crap over the left coils), and tidies up the engine bay by removing the combi valve and secondary air pump as well. Just need a blanking plate and some resistors which you can get through Preeny @TPR or direct from integrated engineering.
Cheers guys - Yeah it's something I might look at when I get round to tidying up the engine bay - it's a shame it looks so good without all the SAI or whatever crap it is on the top haha!
And seriously so far I'm very happy with the difference, even without a tune it feel's A LOT better. Hope it's not a placebo, but the last time it felt this strong was when I installed the FMIC in summer - it's definitely noticeable. So when finally get my tune by Viezu it should be even better!

I've found a forge blanking plate for the SAI which fits the BJX - what else do I need? Resistors? I'm really not that up on electrics ;/ haha

Took this from Vortex
Once you have this off, if you got a resistor (10W 330ohm), just slice the covering off both these wires for the pump harness and connect the resistor to the wires whichever way you see fit. The resistor is not directional either. This will keep you from having a "pump missing" CEL, however you will still probably get the improper flow one
For the delete jump on the Integrated Engineering website and go to the electronics section. From there order 2 of the "oval" shaped Post Release resistors and one of the bare SAI resistor. Plus go to the billet section and order their blanking plate.
Just for the record I don't get any CEL's with this set up and have not had the SAI pump written out of the software
Aww thanks guys that's all really handy info - I'll get onto that over the summer and I would really like to do some polishing at some point like you have Troy...maybe before the next Melbourne event.
I've actually post-poned my Milltek order and prioritised KW V1s because I'm running out of time and money before Canberra to get the car how I want it and I don't want to be on stock suspension with the wheel set up I might be rockin!

I'm so glad you've got your priorities straight. Will be awesome to get all of the modded Polo's together for a shoot (i'll leave that part to you haha)
