cheers thanks mate unfortunatly i didnt read your post till i had already done it hence no pics , i finally figured it out though. the carpet is attached by a plastic clip up and under the boot crash bar. the crash bar can be removed by gently using a flat screw driver tip and runing inbetween the outer door seal and gently lifting the plastic, to see where the clips are and gently lift them up out of there housings. there are also 3 larger clips found up and under the crashbar on the inside of the boot facing towards the exterior of the car (these are a pain to get to) there are also 2 clips found on each side near the rear lights that have metal pins holding them in again using a flat tip screw driver and a bit of care you can remove them by placing the screwdriver inbetween the metal clip and the chassi and slowly wedge it out (i did these clips first). once thats off you can freely pull back enough carpet to get to the wheel mounts where the bolts go. the bolts dont fit easily either ,remove the rubber back seat stoppers by turning them like a screw. after threading the bolts through apply a lil force to get them started on the outside (i used the hole where the rubber stoppers were and a screw driver to wedge the bolt through a little) then use needle nose plyers to start turning the bolt by the thread, it will start to thread through the hole making your life a lot easyer. then replace all carpet and trimmings , use a stanly knife to make a small nick in the carpet and gently push it over the bolt thread with a tight fit, then use your stanly to run around the thread cutting off a small amount of carpet then push it up and over the bolt for a clean finish. ill get back to you about the actual brace , its a head ache to put in since the alloy is so soft.stay tuned

        Here's the link
        http://www.forgemotorsport.co.uk/med...ng%20guide.pdf

The only thing missing in the manual are the detailed steps to remove all the things in the trunk the things that you've explained in the previous post (picture would have been useful).
