Greeting folks
I've been lurking in the background for a while now, and have learned a lot from all your posts, so let me start off by saying: "thanks very much."
I'm looking at getting a polo gti as a runabout/city car, and the idea of an APR modded vehicle looks like my best option for all round comfort, fun and budget.
I'm just wondering if anyone in the club is familiar with the following car:
2006 VOLKSWAGEN POLO GTI 9N MY2006 Private Cars For Sale in WA - carsales.com.au
It looks like it might have once belonged to a member on here given the paintjob and mods. It has APR tune, APR catback, APR intake and (it looks like) upgraded suspension (can anyone confirm this from the pics - looks like some sort of Bilstein suspension to me??).
The current owner claims to have only had it about a year (selling due to baby on the way), and doesn't seem to know much about its history or what has or has not been installed on the car.
It looks like a reasonable buy, but I'm a bit dubious of buying something where the history is unknown.
Any thoughts/help/insight would be much appreciated
Cheers Ross
