SSMAN has some Forge ones for sale in the For Sale section... He has a Polo GTI.

Can I asked a dumb question, what are spacers? Do they make the wheel stick out of the guard more or something? Also guyGTI do you have any pics of your lowered Polo?

Yes mate they move the wheel away from suspension and help in certin brake issues and when you drop then you poke(spacers/or new high dollar wheels with the correct offset) and stretch if you got the dosh.
note: it might/is illegal to install spacers if you are so inclined to believe you are breaking the law
Also note that your insurance will probably not cover you if they find out that you've got spacer installed. This is more of a concern to me than it being illegal.
Can I ask how many VW owners are currently running spacers (and no I'm not a cop)? And I'm also curious how many have been knocked back by the insurance company because of this?
Current:
2023 Mk2 Tiguan R - Lapiz Blue
2015 Mk7 Golf R Wolfsburg - Limestone Grey: Stage 2
Gone but not forgotten: 2008 Polo GTI Shadow Blue
I'm of the opinion unless it is the root cause of a crash (ie spacer failure) there is no problem with insurance. Also, if you are not at fault, dont worry about it.
Don't know why they are "illegal", but yes, these and adapters are.
Try Tim @ dubaddiction, i believe he sells 5x100 spacers (BFI brand iirc)
am interesting philosophy schoona, however, I strongly suspect that insurance companies (who may be asked to cough up $$$$ after an accident) will not necessarily agree with you.
its called a technicality, and their logic is that if you had advised them of the spacers, or other mods, they may have decided not to insure you at all, so regardless of whether the accident was actually caused by the spacers or not, they will claim that they wouldnt have insured you and therefore wouldnt be handing of the cash.
you have a 'duty of disclosure' and if you choose not to tell then everything, you run a big risk of having your policy cancelled when you need it most.
I understand since the GFC, insurance companies are being a bit tougher
yeah, i've got 8mm on each side on the front, 11mm on each side on the back.
cant wait till monday when springs in (NOT as a performance increasing measure, but for looks and slightly less body roll). yes yes im aware of mismatching and how it will prove disadvantageous and that im taking a step backwards, but meh, i might almost have poke!!!!!
