Is it just me or is that an arse load of boost??

That should work too. You just log exactly what you want rather than what VCDS pulls up. Try it any way, there may be some difference??

WHat my whole problem was, that I was going off the info on the APR site.
It tells you to go to Advanced Metering Blocks, which is what I cant do

Im sure I can do it the other way

          Might go try soon

Thanks for the cable tim lol

what troy is trying to say is that the advanced section is greyed out on his car. He only has access to just the normal measuring block section so needs to put in the number instead of ticking a box.

That ECU in the APR screen shots is an MED9 I reckon, maybe that has something to do with ADV blocks not being available?

yyyyep. The above APR link is fine just not applicable to Troys car it seems.
He should be fine to do it the other way. Given he isnt online at the minute maybe he is out in port melbourne somewhere trying to wind out 4th gear

Are there sections of non-public tarmac out there or a really big Macca's carpark?

409 for mine, if your using the USB type, Think you need the next one up.

Have you connected to your car? Can you scan codes? If not, you still may need to be working on the drivers...

I have scaned it and cleared all the codes

Still trying to work out the logging

Some of the things look different on the screen on the version i am using

                          I am using the 908

yeah... thats what you want... then you need to log it as you drive...
This records the same info, but over time, then you can graph it!

I've installed the FORGE TIP and made some more logging:

so here's boost before and after the tip

                                BLUE - before the TIP
                                ORANGE - after the TIP

So, with the TIP only the requested boost seems to be higher all over the rev range
