  • You're welcome. A Polo sized can! For your next secret weapon we discussed this arvo....

    I have these in 1/4 ( 6.35 ) 5/16 ( 7.94 ) 3/8 ( 9.52 ) 3/4 ( 19 ) 1" ( 25.4 ) 1.5" ( 38/1 ) and a spare length of 1.8mm wall 3" stainless pipe, but only a 3" mild steel 90 bend. Fine if you ceramic the whole thing though, but perhaps get a good stainless 90 off e-bay. Look for the thicker ones though, act as a heat sink when thicker.

    • I have the model below that one (stealth), didnt you have one the same Ant and you sold it ?

I went to all the trouble of having -AN bungs welded onto it. Noticed you can get it in NPT now

I originally had another brand mate but it didn't catch much so figured this was a better design.

          Great minds and all that

          Getting closer

Hotside is now thoroughly thermal coated

They say it's good for up to around 1200C (2400F) but I'm hoping not to test that any time soon.

And got one of these Moroso Venturi valves to be welded into the exhaust to run off the catch can so I can delete the PCV. Thanks again Greg!

Still got the custom made TIP to sort out then it's tune time after Gav pop's in the wee turbo.

                • Is this plumbing back to sump.? If not I'm keen to see how much it actually catches. I'm basing this on the fact that oil will lie on the lowest part of the inter cooler piping , for anyone who has taken the lowest pipe off will know if u managed not to get it on your clothes lol. Keen to hear as its a consideration I have when I get started back on my rocket

By the looks of it I think it vents to the exhaust? Maybe pre-cat?

                      • Yes only the venturi valve need to be welded in post cat and 2nd sensor just in case the unlikely event of oil making it down there. So to start from the engine the block and valve cover outlets are joined by a T-piece and that hose runs to the bottom inlet on the can the top outlet hose runs to the venturi valve with sucks the gas out the exhaust. Hope that makes sense Jimmy

                        • Pretty much like my old set up but the hose to the PCV goes to the valve in the exhaust

                              Back in the car

Bolts locking tabs, I opted to leave the one on the nut. Hard to get too and if it ever had to come off, bending the tab back would a nightmare.

Still to finalise a TIP but here's what's going on to start with.
