I think the Sportster CS have an option for airbags.
I looked into these considering them myself but they were a bit cost-prohibitive if I remember correctly..
I'm pretty sure they're the ones 9N3 Turbo has but re-upholstered in tartan.
Polo GTI MY2008 Build Thread 136.09kW and 305.28Nm torques, Dynapack Hub Dyno
I have the CSs, no airbags. Mind you, the deep-dish MOMO hasn't got one, either They're really comfy for long drives, and would easily accept a harness. Recliners are definitely the go for a street car.
Thanks very much lads! So more yen needed As a matter of interest can a 4 point harness work with the stock seats by passing the top straps through under the headrest or is that a safety no no?

Im guessing its ok, you see lots of cars like that, old datsuns 240's 260's etc
I think it's a no-no, but in one of my old Minis I ran no rear seats, 2 recliners and 4 point harnesses tied off towards the rear of the car with the top straps feeding through the headrest like you mentioned. Never had any problems and didn't chop my head off...
I hope you don't plan on adjusting the volume on the stereo once you're strapped in, haha!

Lol that's usually Natalie's job so going to have fun watching her try!!
So thinking about this again. Anyone else know if I can run the stock seats with a 4 point harness? The harness would be strapped to a horizontal cross bar running across the rollcage hoop so the height can be made to sit exactly the same height as the top of the seat and under the head rest.
Anthony, Its just a cheaper way to go, it fits straight onto your normal seat belt, takes about 10-15 minutes to fit & works very well @ holding ya in place.
I love it.
I use to have a problem coming out of the fish hook @ Waky with me bummy moving around but that was the only corner even when going real hard, now no probs.
Try it before the big expense, you'll be surprised.
When ya find yourself going too fast for this, then upgrade to the full harness.
Just my personal thoughts.
Good call thanks Eddy, I might get one before I have get a 4 point sorted. Not sure if you saw my previous post about a 4 point being a class regulation.
