            Brake pad upgrade

If you want slightly harder (and less dusty) front brake pads, you can get EBC Greens. The part number is DP21479, and they are actually the upgraded pad listed in the EBC catalogue for a Skoda Fabia (and a couple of other VAG platforms). They cost around c.$150

                Mag Wheels

Here is a site that actually shows you the polo9n series with different wheels on them. ozaustralia I know they are only O.Z. but at least you can get the general drift.

                      Tyre Pressure

Well went to the servo to check my tyre pressure and found that they dont use BAR incriments on there gauge so i have done a bit of research to save everyone else.

                      Tyre Bar Pressure PSI pressure
                      Front 2.8 40
                      Rear 3.2 46

Now according to Michelin uk site it says to add 5 psi to the cold recommendation if your tyres are hot.

                      I hope this helps

                        Hoyhoy.
Shaneth, These figures are O.K. if you have 5 passengers & luggage.
I myself have'nt had anyone in the rear seat as yet, so then the figures change a bit.
Fr. 2.6--38lb. [ As recommended for 2 passengers.]
                        Re. 2.4--35lb. [ " " " " " .]
As this little girl is mine & the wife has her own car, I changed the pressures even to these figures.
Fr. 2.5--36lb. [ This also helps with the torque steer.]
                        Re. 34lb. [ " " " " " " " .]
                        Hooroo.

                          Polos sold in Australia

                          G'day,

I got an interesting question - don't know if anyone knows. Anybody knows how many Polos were sold in Australia between 1996 + 2000 ? Mine seems to be the only one running around here ! Not many people on the forum seem to own one either ...

... just something that interested me personally ...

How much do you chaps usually pay for REGO for this car ? Mine will be due in 3 months or so but I fear that it'll be quite a lot. Don't actually know !!?

                          Cheers !

                          - Nick

Probably something that's been published somewhere here before (haven't seen it though) - VW Key disassembly and battery replacement:
