Headlights were a breeze, parker on drivers side easy too.. I can get my hand in on the passenger side to pull out the other parker because the battery and all the **** on it is too close. Any tips without having to pull the battery out?
Also, have tried the fog lights yet as I don't want to breaak anything.

FYI - High beems are H1s, Headlights are H7s, Fog Lights H4s and parkers obviously wedge globes.

Running power cable for amplifier - Polo GTI:

Will take photo's on the weekend

In the passenger footwell, the left side kick panel comes off to reveal a grommet. The wire can be passed through the grommet, around and in behind the wheel guard (which you need to take off), and up through an existing hole at the top adjacent to battery.

I have the uprated front and there is no more understeer.
But a very nutral feel when used with a rear.

Does the extra 2mm help to eliminate some of the falling over the outside front wheel feeling when cornering hard? I was considering getting one but held back due to the need to have it fitted by a suspension place...mainly wondering if you thought it was a worthwile upgrade?

                        On the topic of swaybars.

My car was standard and i did my suspension in four stages.

Firstly: I added the whiteline adjustable Rear sway bar. On the middle setting.
Which in my opinion held it alot flatter through corners and helped reduce understeer when you are realy pushing it hard.

Second: Changed springs, Eibach pro kit. BIG improvement not only in looks but handling, allowed you to chose understeer or oversteer. Made the car much more planted. Didnt affect ride comfort very much.
But what it did do was make the front sway bar knock like a bitch.

Third: whiteline adjustable front sway bar. (have to get a suspension place to install this. theres ALOT of work involved, but then again the springs were an absolute bastard too.)

Now with the front sway bar the car feels even better. Extremely hard to get the car to understeer.

                        Fourth: front upper strut brace

I was traveling back from Nelson bay about a week ago, going through higher speed round abouts on the freeway the car felt soo planted and stable, if you adjust your steering inputs a little through the corner the back would juuust start to slide a bit to help you around the corner

Thanks for the info, Mitch. Have similar plans and the RSB already in place.

                            Alloy wheel fitment

                            Alloy question

                            17x7.5 w/35 offset with 205/40/17

This wont present any problems on a mildly lowered GTI polo will it?

                                Faq

Heres a FAQ for some of you, Why are work mates such nobs?

mine is about 25 (im 22)

Description: Brain size of a tictac, macedonian, drives a skyline R32.

He just wrote me a message at like 1am saying he had just raced a black polo and 'tor it a nu arz hol' siiiiickkkk.
He is always putting my car down saying its slow n a bit gay.

He thinks hes the best and thinks his car is the best, ive never said a bad word about his car, dont rip him off as i fail to see why i would/should. But he takes the piss hard.

Wrote back to his message and said,'' i know the black GTI your talking about, its standard ''
He writes back (and i have corrected the spelling, he spelt surely as shorley)
''surely this flash tune and your new dump pipe dont do that much, i smashed the polo by 3 lengths by 3rd gear.''

I wrote back and told him he probably raced a TDI and he should be shamed if he didnt win in his sick sick sick skyline

Whats the best way to deal with this muppet?

p.s i outsell him month in... month out. Soo maybe he is headnicked by me, and its his way of trying to get back?
Also, private road, second gear we had a quick 4 second go on the loud pedal
I think he got the biggest shock of his life, then started making excuses the next day like he was restraining himself, didnt have his foot all the way down, his fourth turbo hadnt spooled, still hadnt hit vtec, his stand alone motec computer exhaust still hadnt warmed up.

                                Im over this tossern:
